This enables us to drive down manufacturing costs by aggregating volumes generated from multiple customers and applications. |

PCBMotor operates as a component supplier, delivering stator and driver circuits for low volume and Piezo components for higher volume. Our application support is available are needed for design and supply of electronic control. Rotors and other parts needed to fit the motor to your application are also available. Cost is one of our key considerations in ensuring a successful design. Our modular concept, combined with a freedom in design of moving parts, enables us to minimize the bill of material A PCBMotor can be much more closely integrated into your application than a conventional device. And the unique form factor - where motor, gear and clutch come in a flat, circular unit only a few mm thick - allows you to build movement into your products in a new way and, at a cost targeted for low to high volume applications. A practical example of the technology can be illustrated with a radio tuner. A conventional motor solution requires external mounting and wiring of standard motors. Compare with a PCBMotor that can have several motors positions integrated on one single PCB to tune different frequencies where all the motors are switched by a single driver. The PCBMotor results in a smaller bill of material, lower building height and less assembly cost. Given the high holding torque of the PCBMotor, it will keep its position during power off. In contrast, the conventional motor solution degrades the stability and precision of the movements. And to top it off, PCBMotors are built using standardized components and well-established assembly techniques. |
