Earlier this year we held a survey about our motors, what you thought of them and asked what your main motor application challenges and needs were.
Your feedback was both enlightening and incredibly useful. A huge THANKS to those of you who took the time to complete the survey.
The results
The three things PCB application developers prioritize the most are:
1st place - Resolution precision
The ability to realize higher resolution, and increase the number of steps per revolution, whilst maintaining accuracy.
2nd place – Design features
Keeping the size of application designs to a minimum and eliminating (costly) unnecessary components
3rd place – High torque and holding torque
The ability of the motor when powered down to completely stop, hold its position and maintain its inherent holding torque
So what next?
Our response to your feedback was to ask our engineers, "can we deliver what our market is asking for?"
And they answered by developing a new high resolution product for advanced application prototyping with new features and new controller software.
